This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team developing the nursing role within the practice to ensure a high standard of nursing care and to fully utilize the nursing skill set within the practice. Hours: This is a full-time position with a 40-hour working week with a shift rota to cover the hours between 8 am and 7 pm. The role includes out-of-hours cover with time off in lieu and enhanced overtime pay. The weekend rota is contracted to 1 in 6 weekends; however, with additional staff, this commitment is reduced. Accommodation is available if required when on-call. OOHS:
The nurses work 10 am - 7 pm on their on-call night and then take the emergency phones. It is a sleeping shift with checks on inpatients required as needed, and also attending any call-outs. Weekends are the same for Friday night, working in practice on Saturday mornings (8:30 am - 12:30 pm) and then taking the phones, looking after inpatients, and attending any call-outs until Monday morning. Following a weekend, you get a day off which the lead nurse allocates, depending on staffing needs that week. Salary:
