Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - King's Lynn, Norfolk Type : Small Animal Location : King's Lynn, Norfolk Practice Type : As an independent practice, they are hugely proud of what they achieve each day and of the team that does it. They have two practices in Norfolk. One site is an RCVS-Accredited Hospital and the second is an RCVS-Accredited general practice. Equipment is abundant and first class in beautiful working premises. The team is supportive, protective, nurturing, and cares for each other. Role : They are looking to appoint a number of additional Veterinary Surgeons to their team. Business levels are continuing to grow, and they are looking for colleagues to join their supportive team of 16 Vets, 31 RVNs, and a talented support function. Candidate: If you are a recent grad, they would expect your day-one skills to have been put to the test, polished, and ready for action with your VetGDP completed or at least well underway. If you are two to three years into your career, they would want you to hit the ground running with a good plan already in place for how you want to utilize your CPD allowance (which is pretty much uncapped). Duties : When you join this practice, you will live a life of 20-minute consults for the most routine of appointments and 40 minutes for pretty much everything else. Theatre days are purely spent in the theatre. Protected time for study is truly given. They shut for an hour each day so that lunchtimes are protected. You will never know what you bill each month or have it used against you to berate and cajole.
