Facilities : They are a standalone practice, that offers a spacious work environment with its 3 consult rooms and a separate x-ray room. The practice is also ideally located for people who need to use public transport being located opposite the train station! Team : They are supported by a fantastic team of two Vets, 3 RVNs, and 2 SVNs. Plus a supportive front-of-house team who ensures the vets can concentrate on their cases. Role : Our client is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its fantastic long-standing team. They are looking for a vet who would also be interested in coaching new grad vets and nurses, as they are passionate about growing the future of veterinary talent. Hours : The role itself is for a full-time vet. Although they are not open currently at weekends, there is the chance they will start opening on Saturdays (9 am to 12 pm) which would be worked on a 1 in 3 basis. However, if you are looking for fewer days, speak with us and they can look at other options. Support : They run 15-minute appointments, Ops are finished by 1.30 pm and they have protected lunch breaks. Keen to provide the very best care to their patients, they have dental X-ray and stage all of their dentals. This is supported by the nurses who scale, probe, and polish allowing you time to follow up on other cases or get a cup of tea. Currently, they are building their orthopaedic caseload offering TPLOs and cruciate repairs. If you have a specific interest you would like to pursue, they would love to support and encourage it. Candidate : This is ideally for an experienced vet with over 2 years of experience; however, they appreciate that everyone is at different stages of their development, so if you are a more recent graduate, please do get in touch as they are sure they can support you on your journey. £60,000
