Team : They have a friendly and supportive team which is made up of 17 Vets and 30 Nurses (including Nursing Assistants). Amongst the team they have certificate holders in ophthalmology, imaging, and surgery, as well as other Vets studying for Certificates in medicine, exotics, and surgery. They encourage their team with further education and support any special interests they have.
Role : Our client is looking for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly hardworking team. With their varied caseload and highly experienced colleagues and certificate holders on hand, this would be an ideal opportunity for a vet who is looking to expand their knowledge, manage fun and interesting cases, and become confident in their abilities as a good all-around Vet.
Duties : You will be working within a large team across their three branches (no sole charge) carrying out consultations (at least 15 minutes), surgery, work-ups, and time to carry out day-to-day phone calls and other ancillary veterinary tasks.
Hours :
Typically, the full-time position is 4 days a week plus our OOH rota which is shared evenly across a large team of Vets with full backup when on call at night.
The current rota pattern is 1 in 15 nights and 1 in 7 weekends.
However, work/life balance is important to them; therefore, Part-Time would be considered but full participation in the OOH rota would be expected.
Salary : Up to
£75,000
per annum depending on experience.
