Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Sunderland

They are an independent busy first opinion practice, that appreciates and values its employees. Branch work : Based at one site (so no traveling from branch to branch), allowing for client continuity. Facilities : They are one of the few practices in the area to undertake laparoscopic surgery. They have both digital & dental x-rays, an in-house Idexx lab suite, multi-parameter, ultrasound, endoscope, diathermy, dental equipment, tonometry, and also undertake some orthopaedic and specialist soft tissue procedures in house. Team : Their current clinical team consists of two full-time veterinary surgeons (their senior vet has a certificate in Small Animal Surgery, and their other full-time vet has a surgical bias, so would suit someone with a medical bias), 4 RVN's, 3 SVN's, and 4 support staff. Role : Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their hardworking friendly team. Hours are 8.30 am to 6.30 pm 4 days a week (including allocated paid breaks) 1:3 Saturday mornings 8.30 am to 12 pm (consults only) with time back the following week Skills/Exp : They are looking for someone with up to 1-2 years of experience who wants to be a well-rounded GP vet, and who wants to progress but would need some support with both surgery & more complex cases (Vet GDP support in place). Ideally to start in the new year. Salary:
