I am a sociable 91-year-old lady that lives in Kirkcudbright. I enjoy other people’s company, and I have many visitors that come to see me at home for a blether and a cuppa. I enjoy going out to the local lunch groups in Kirkcudbright during the weekdays and going to local art/crafts groups.
I am looking to recruit personal assistance to assist me in personal care, meal preparation, and helping me to make phone calls and refreshments when I have visitors. Sometimes I may need medication prompting. Due to my mobility, I use a Zimmer frame which requires some supervision. I do also use a wheelchair when I am going out into the community and would like someone that is happy to help with this.
The hours for this role are 28 hours a week, Monday – Friday, ideally 10:00am-3:00pm, but this can be discussed more at interview. Someone that drives is preferable but not essential. A suitable PVG is required.
