Enable

by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants, but we can guarantee that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!

Each person we support has different support needs, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling, or positive behavioral support while expanding their social networks and connections.

Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and aspirations of the people we support are met.

The people we support have many varied interests and hobbies and share many of the same dreams and aspirations as we do; they just too often do not get the opportunity to experience these same opportunities. A career with

Enable

is as rewarding as it is diverse, Personal Assistants at their best have the potential to truly bring out the best in the people we support.

We currently support seven people across three beautiful large homes to live an independent life and support them to be part of the wider community. Milltown is a beautiful community surrounded by wildlife and a small community farm, which includes Alpacas, chickens, vegetable growing, and we are currently constructing a sensory garden. We are looking for a keen gardener who can support the community to get the best from the land.

We are looking for a PA who has a genuine interest and commitment to the people we support's development and engagement in their home and community. The ideal candidates would be compassionate and nurturing, with a positive outlook on life and a person-centered approach.

Milltown Community is a unique setting, with a variety of shift patterns and support needs. We have a dynamic team that thrives on supporting the continued independence of the people we support.

If you think you share the same interests and have the commitment, dedication, and above all, desire to support our tenants at Milltown Community to get the most out of life, then please apply now!
