I am a 12-year-old young lady who is autistic and visually impaired. My family is recruiting for an evening Personal Assistant (PA) to help after school. Your primary responsibility will be in a caring role supporting me to lead an independent life at home by assisting with meal preparation, personal care, and daily routines.
You will need a valid UK driving license as the role will include driving from Dumfries to Castle Douglas and possibly to leisure and social activities.
I am initially looking for 9 hours of support per week, and you will be paid £12 per hour.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, friendly, and preferably has previous experience working with children with additional support needs. A valid PVG certificate is essential for this post.
