Our Dispute Resolution team provides advice on general civil dispute resolution matters including land and property litigation, commercial and contract issues, landlord and tenant, planning, debt, family and employment. The team is actively involved in Sheriff Court, Court of Session, Supreme Court, Scottish Land Court, and Lands Tribunal litigation and consists of 20 team members including 6 partners, two of which are Solicitor Advocates. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced PA to provide dedicated and bespoke assistance in support of one of our Dispute Resolution Partners located within our Edinburgh Office. This is a varied and comprehensive role and as an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative and secretarial support, ensuring the smooth running of our Partner’s busy schedule, and maintaining the highest level of client service at all times. The role requires a highly motivated and pro-active team player with the ability to prioritise workload to an exceptional standard. The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain collaborative and professional working relationships. It is also important for the candidate to have strong attention to detail skills with the competence to produce audio typed documentation including letters, reports, presentations, as well as being proficient in Microsoft Office packages. Experience in a similar role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment, and knowledge and understanding of Dispute Resolution practices would be an advantage.
