Job Purpose

Our Personal Assistants support people to lead full, active, and socially connected lives, helping them achieve what matters to them.

Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards, a qualification that meets the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

Job Details

We are looking for Personal Assistants to work with a 49-year-old gentleman living in Craigmillar. Various hours of work are available.

About this opportunity

This gentleman has a diagnosis of Autism and Bi-polar disorder. He is a loving, caring man who can be overcome by his emotions. He has a weekly routine that is very important to him, as he finds transitions difficult. This gentleman is tactile, loves to laugh, enjoys company, and to chat. He is very able and does not require any support with his personal care and is a delight to know.

Experience with Autism or mental health would be beneficial.
