To provide a high-quality administrative and secretarial service to the IPC Team Lead(s) and team, including wider and senior NTQ Directorate Management as requested. To undertake responsibility for all of the day-to-day management of the administrative, clerical and secretarial functions associated with the team, setting the appropriate high standards and culture, ensuring the highest standard of security and confidentiality at all times, and ensuring that work is delivered on time and to the highest standard. Working and acting on own initiative and dealing with potentially complex situations and raising Infection Control issues through the appropriate channels. Ensuring that in the absence of the Lead ICN and other team members, all urgent and important matters are dealt with at the appropriate level. To adopt a constantly flexible approach to ensure that objectives are completed efficiently and within given timescales. To communicate effectively with a wide range of healthcare professionals across the organisation. The role will require cross-agency working including other healthcare trusts, ICB, Primary Care, Independent Health Care Providers, PHE and Service Level Agreement contracts.
