About the role: This role offers comprehensive support to the CEO of a licensed Water Retailer, with a strong focus on growth and sustainability. The primary responsibilities include organising the CEO's professional and personal commitments, as well as assisting in the management and daily operations of the company. The position allows for hybrid working, with three days in the Leatherhead office and two days working from home. Role Summary: The Personal Assistant (PA) to the CEO is responsible for meticulous diary management and the proactive organization of the CEO's time, ensuring that life runs as smoothly as possible. The ideal candidate must manage a large volume of competing deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The PA will need to have a deep understanding of the CEO's professional goals, balancing time between corporate, client, and business development activities. Excellent private support is also required for both work-related and personal tasks. As a PA, you will become a trusted partner to the CEO, playing an integral role in the effective operation of the business. Key Responsibilities: Proactively manage and plan the CEO's diary and appointments Organise travel arrangements, including routes and hotel bookings, and act on behalf of the CEO whilst he is out of the office Ensure effective use of the CEO's time between corporate responsibilities, client engagements, and business development Maintain a log of business development relationship meetings and keep the Business Development team updated Collaborate with the Business Development team Review commercial proposals for prospective clients Manage office operations Prepare and plan for the CEO's client relationship meetings, including drafting agendas and minutes, and following up on actions and commitments Participate in staff employment processes Conduct meetings with Account Managers Work effectively under pressure and multitask; proofing skills are essential Manage stock orders and solve general day-to-day issues Personal Support Responsibilities: Greet guests and address their needs Provide lunch and refreshments for the CEO and senior team as required Run ad-hoc errands and make purchases on the CEO's behalf Budget and Expense Management: Assist the CEO in managing budgets through effective planning Maintain records of expenses Oversee purchases, invoices, and expenses, ensuring costs are allocated to the appropriate departments Requirements: Exceptional diary management and organisational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to work quickly to tight deadlines Proactive, flexible, organised, and able to problem-solve effectively Polite, direct, and possess a positive 'can-do' attitude Empathetic and able to distinguish between personal and professional workload pressures Strong character and resilience Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, particularly Outlook Previous experience supporting leaders at the Partner or CEO level is preferred but not essential.
