An opportunity has arisen within the executive office to support the corporate function and be part of a friendly office team. The successful candidate will be Personal Assistant to Executive Directors, so working at the most senior levels in the Trust. Experience of working in an office environment is essential; you will be enthusiastic and motivated and work to a high standard of accuracy. You will be able to prioritise your workload effectively and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will prepare agendas and take minutes at Board committee level. The Walton Centre has been rated as an Outstanding Trust by the CQC and routinely scores high on its staff survey results. Main duties of the job

You will provide comprehensive secretarial support and administrative services to the Executive Directors. You will work with the minimum of supervision in an organised and efficient manner to maximise the effective use of your own time and that of the Director. You will produce excellent minutes at Committees of the Board and other meetings as required. You will be experienced in complex diary management and co-ordinate internal and external meetings and some corporate events. You will use your initiative and be able to multitask, maintaining confidentiality at all levels at all times. About us

Qualifications

Minimum of RSA II Word processing and Audio Transcription (or equivalent) Degree or relevant experience RSA III Shorthand Qualification Knowledge & Experience

Proven recent experience of working as a PA to a Director or equivalent senior manager Experience of servicing and taking minutes at formal committee and group meetings Producing reports/letters Strong minute taking skills Strong administrative and organisational skills Ability to meet deadlines Ability to prioritise workload Ability to effectively manage diaries Excellent interrogation skills, collation of data and re-presenting this through a variety of mediums Experience of maintaining core records such as annual leave and expenses Experience of working in the NHS in an administrative role Skills & Attributes

Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams). Ability to seek, analyse and evaluate information Well planned, organised and systematic approach to tasks Ability to work effectively and proactively as part of a team Ability to work closely with other departments which may include influencing and negotiating skills to achieve the desired outcome for the director Freedom to act when appropriate, using own initiative and judgement Able to demonstrate a high standard of English grammar and comprehension To work productively with the line manager Disclosure and Barring Service Check
