Personal Assistant to the Director of Finance & Operations and Administrator to the Clerk of Governors Permanent,

full time during term time (40 hours a week) plus ten days worked in the holidays We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Personal Assistant to the Director of Finance & Operations and Administrator to the Clerk of Governors. In this important role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Finance & Operations, handling calls, emails and correspondence as well as attending meetings and taking minutes. You will also lead the clerking administration function, providing support to the Clerk of Governors, ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of governance functions. The role will include in person attendance at Governor meetings, of which you can expect one a term, usually held in the evening as well as various board meetings through the year. Timely production of minutes following the meetings is imperative so you will be highly organised and efficient. The role is people facing and you will be the first point of call for all visitors to the bursary department so a friendly and professional disposition is essential. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication and administrative skills who enjoys working in an educational environment. About us Sir William Perkins’s School is a high-performing independent girls’ school for approximately 600 students aged 11 – 18 years. The Head is both a member of HMC and GSA. It was founded in 1725 and is now on an attractive 12-acre site situated on the outskirts of Chertsey, a two-minute walk from the railway station and very near to the junction of the M3 and M25.
