Looking for a rewarding and flexible part-time job that fits around your studies ? AIBO ( https://aibo.org.uk/ ) is offering students a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of elderly individuals living near your university. As a 'Buddy' ( this is what we like to call students ), you’ll be matched with an elderly person who is looking for some help in the week with random tasks that they might find hard to do on their own ( this is strictly non-medical or care related ), for example: light household work (hoovering, dishwasher, wiping down surfaces, tidying); helping them with their shopping, posting letters, helping with technology (understanding their phone, laptop or TV better); DIY, gardening, pet care, changing their bed sheets & spending time just chatting and getting to know them (

bonus if you have a car and can drive them places or organise a fun day out!

). Key Responsibilities : Spend time with elderly individuals ( your Buddy ), offering companionship Help with various tasks ( pre-agreed before committing to anything ) including light household tasks such as shopping, gardening, DIY, or basic tech Help with transportation, running errands, attending appointments or organising a fun day out Why Join AIBŌ? : Flexible hours that fit around your studies (could be anything from 2 hours per week to 25, depending on what you can offer) Earn a

minimum of £15/hour

(plus fuel expenses if you have a car) Learn from your Buddy ( we aim to match students with people who have had careers in their field of study ) Work that

and creates lasting connections About You : A current student at either the University of Chichester, Portsmouth or Liverpool Have or willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS Certificate Friendly, patient, and compassionate Reliable and responsible with a genuine interest in helping others Great communication skills and comfortable spending time with the elderly Interested in making a positive impact while earning extra money Questions?
