Job Overview We are seeking a caring and compassionate female Personal Assistant to join a team in providing care and support to a lady with spinal cord injury in her home. This is a full-time position, working a variety of shifts to include days, nights and weekends. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others, ensuring their well-being and will ideally possess a minimum of two years care experience. The client has two dogs so a dog lover is essential for this role. Additionally, our client travels quite a lot and you must therefore be willing to go away for 1-2 weeks with her when required. A full clean driving license is a pre-requisite for all applying. The role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Certificate (DBS) Responsibilities Assist client with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support client with mobility needs and transfers Assist with light household tasks as needed, including helping out with the dogs Willingness to travel with client and be away from home for 1-2 weeks as required Experience - Previous experience in home care or a care home environment is essential - Experience of working with spinal cord injury - Familiarity with supporting a wheelchair user - Proficient in English, both spoken and written Essential Requirements Client requests a female applicant due to the nature of the role Minimum two years care experience Good communication skills Full clean driving license Dog lover Initial interviews will be held by a virtual platform and then in person Job Types:
