I have mobility issues and use a crutch some days indoors and an electric wheelchair outdoors. I am semi-retired and work as a counsellor three days a week in the afternoons. I have many hobbies, such as photography, building dollhouses, and quilting. However, I can get depressed at times.
As a Personal Assistant, you must be enthusiastic about communicating with and supporting me in a person-centred manner.
I am looking for a FEMALE personal assistant (due to the nature of personal care work) for:
Schedule Requested:
Tuesdays: 4 1/2 hours Thursdays: 2 hours
Job Responsibilities: Preparing breakfast Previous experience in personal care (shower/dressing) Preparing a hot meal with "Hello Fresh" Reminding me to take my medication and preparing my lunch pack for work Social hours on Tuesday, which may include going out for chores or social activities indoors or outdoors Details: You MUST like dogs and cats as I have two very friendly cocker spaniels and two cuddly cats. Working as part of a team and covering the other personal assistants when sick or on holiday is also ESSENTIAL.
This is an employed position organised by Social Services. The pay rate is £17.52 per hour (subject to NI and Tax deductions).
Using technology such as BrightHR for viewing your rota/shifts and a WhatsApp group to communicate is necessary for this job.
An interview will take place at my home when convenient for both parties. If the suggested time is not suitable, please suggest suitable times for you (Monday or Friday PM, if possible, as I do not work then).
