Personal Care Assistant
for a teenage P/T @ £12.10/hr in Middlesbrough - FTE - £23.6k - Middlesbrough - TS9 A 17-year-old young man living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy requires 1:1 support to enable him to maintain his independence and participate in activities he enjoys. He is a wheelchair user and lives in a village location. His interests include football, gaming, getting out with the dog, Formula 1, and going to the cinema. Support required includes: Personal care Meal preparation Getting out and about Requirements: Must be flexible Must hold a clean driving license and be confident to drive a wheelchair accessible vehicle Hours: 13 hours per week during term time and 24 hours per week during college holidays. Some flexibility required. £12.10/hr. Paid annual leave entitlement equivalent to 5.6 weeks per year (pro rata).
