Part-time (temp) PA required for a lady with MND who needs assistance with personal care and tasks such as organizing medication and caring for equipment. You will mainly be assisting by being the client's 'hands', organizing things she is no longer able to do. The role is varied, with her interests including writing, family history, and a love of birds and the outdoors.
The client uses a power wheelchair and has all necessary equipment, maintaining a relatively independent lifestyle. The applicant may need their own transport as the location is rural, although it is accessible via a bus route from Morpeth.
The hours and days can be adjusted according to the applicant's personal circumstances, with a preference for 3 hours per day, but other arrangements will be considered. Although the role is advertised as temporary, there is a high chance it will become a permanent position, with potential for increased hours in the future.
No specific experience is required; knowledge of MND would be beneficial but not necessary.
