We currently have two positions available in the Rotherham area of South Yorkshire for the following vacancy working with a single Service User in own home. 1 x 20 hours on average a week working 2 days 1 x 30 hours on average a week working 3 days Caring Personal Assistants have an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our organisation. As part of Caring Personal Assistant ethos we believe that it’s important to match the correct care assistant to the correct service user to optimise the relationships formed and ensure consistency. We offer a free comprehensive training programme, which includes a paid induction and experience shadowing more senior colleagues for hands-on experience. Key responsibilities: To assist in the provision of care and work as part of a team to achieve required standards. To ensure our Service Users retain their dignity and individuality. Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting our Service User with personal care, medication administration, and all other aspects of daily living. Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning, and movement of our Service Users. Assist our Service Users with getting out and about promoting their independence. Perform light housekeeping tasks. Encourage Service Users to participate in social and recreational activities. Pay & Benefits Your basic rate of pay is £13.60 Enhanced bank holiday rate Contracted weekly hours Joining bonus scheme £250 (terms and conditions apply) Refer a friend scheme £300 Fixed address – no travelling between client to client Weekly or monthly pay day offered Enhanced DBS supplied via company loan paid back in first 3 months of employment Opportunity to obtain NVQs in Health and Social Care On-the-job training, with shadowing in place – fully paid Opportunities for advancement and career development Nest Pension scheme Open door policy (we want all our staff to feel supported, so the door is always open for a chat).
