Can you help care for a young boy who loves others and has a smile that can light up a room? He enjoys being talked to, reading storybooks with pictures, bouncing on a trampoline to the song 'Horsey Horsey', and splashing in a warm pool with Bing and Horrid Henry playing. Alongside this, he has significant health needs that are life-limiting. He requires assistance to breathe, which can occasionally turn into an urgent situation. Full training will be provided. You will need to help stretch his failing body to keep him comfortable, ensure he is medicated and fed correctly via a tube, and help him sleep at night by assisting him to move and continue to breathe safely. This young boy comes from a busy household with dogs. The role involves assisting at home with education and therapies and going out and about. You must be willing and hopefully wanting to get on a trampoline and in a warm pool each week. The ability to drive a wheelchair-accessible van is also needed. Rate of pay:
£13 per hour Looking for someone to cover 12 hours per week, mainly evenings 3-8 pm, with occasional shifts from 11-5 or waking night shifts from 7-7 to fit into the rota (inclusive of weekends), which is completed 6-8 weeks in advance. Services:
