If you meet Darren, can you connect with him in the way that his team do? To bend and flex around him to help him navigate all that life throws at him, the ups and the downs. Do you have the stickability factor?
Darren’s team support him every day to live his good life, but he and they need more good people to join them so Darren can do more of the things that bring him joy such as swimming, meeting his sensory needs through painting and crafting, and trying new things – which might include cycling and horse riding.
Day-to-Day, routine is important to Darren, knowing that he can trust and feel safe in the people around him, to understand his needs and the importance of routine in his day. Darren living his good life includes long walks – no matter the weather, so it is important that new team members are comfortable with this.
