Job Responsibilities
Manage your own caseload of Fast Track Personal Injury claims, including RTA and EL/PL cases. Handle pre-litigated and post-litigated files with confidence in all aspects of litigation. Draft legal documents, such as court proceedings, applications, witness statements, and Part 35 questions. Progress cases efficiently to achieve the best outcomes for clients and the firm. Accurately assess quantum and calculate financial losses/special damages. Conduct liability/causation risk assessments and negotiate effectively on behalf of clients. Strong understanding of the MOJ Portal and claims management systems (e.g., Proclaim). Excellent drafting skills for legal documents and the ability to meet deadlines and targets under pressure. Strong communication skills to build relationships with clients and work effectively in a team. Attention to detail, negotiation skills, and the ability to assess liability and damages accurately.
