The firm is actively seeking a Personal Injury Claims Legal Assistant to join its dedicated team. This pivotal role involves the negotiation of claim settlements in a manner that is efficient, equitable, and economical, adhering to policy wording and the Claims Handling Manual. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining policy integrity, and fostering a swift recovery process where feasible. Key Responsibilities: - Adherence to pre and post-litigation procedures to resolve claims effectively and cost-efficiently. - Validation of claims against company records and identification of any underwriting concerns. - Thorough investigation of loss circumstances and conducting liability enquiries. - Verification and authorisation of accounts/fee notes and payments. - Consistent maintenance of accurate estimates and necessary adjustments throughout the claim's lifecycle. Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: - Proven experience within a legal environment. - Law degree or equivalent qualification. - Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building prowess. - Articulate and numerate with a keen eye for detail. - Commitment to delivering first-class customer service. - Outstanding organisational skills with an aptitude for prioritisation and delivery.
