Overview
A new position is being created for a Personal Lines to focus on:
Acting as a Customer Adviser on specific nominated accounts and supporting other members of the division on accounts as appropriate.
Managing a range of customer enquiries via telephone, email, and post while providing excellent customer service.
Developing the account through existing client contacts and contributing to maximising growth through converting new business enquiries, cross-selling, and upselling relevant ancillary products.
Sharing responsibility for the achievement of the business plan and budget of the Division.
Ensuring compliance with the Company’s systems and procedures regarding service standards, documentation quality, credit control, and support of key insurance markets.
Checking policy documents for accuracy and breadth of cover.
Providing assistance to the Claims department with any relevant claims.
Updating client records with accurate information received from insurers, including new business, adjustments, and renewals.
Transferring copies and documents into the client electronic file.
Promoting and supporting the Division both internally and externally to clients, the insurance market, and other third parties.
The Role
Playing a major role in ensuring first-class service to clients, projecting the organisation as a quality company.
Answering calls from customers, replying to email requests or queries, and completing renewals and new business quotes.
Having designated responsibility for the existing client base, including retention.
Developing the account through existing client contacts by contributing to the division’s growth through converting new business enquiries, cross-selling, and upselling relevant ancillary products.
Dealing with enquiries as appropriate to experience and expertise with designated broking and placing as suitable within available markets.
Building relationships with clients by managing day-to-day queries accurately and efficiently, via telephone or written correspondence.
Administering new business, MTA’s, and renewals.
Maintaining good credit control within your client portfolio.
Ensuring advice given meets clients’ requirements in all cases, with recommendations and reasons documented.
Conducting fair analysis of the market with all potentially suitable products considered.

The successful candidate will be part of a busy, successful team and will need to be highly motivated and efficient. A commitment and willingness to work towards a minimum qualification of Cert CII is required.
