Personal Support Assistant – D732 – Scarborough

A Personal Support Assistant with a good sense of humour is required to assist a good humoured 37 year-old gentleman who has some learning disabilities for 30 hours per week. This position start date is late November due to current PA re-locating. The duties are: Personal care Dressing Light domestic chores on a 1:1 basis Day to day activities within the community such as swimming, shopping, and eating out on a 2:1 basis He also enjoys music and Lego. The applicant MUST: Be able to drive Hold a clean Full UK Driving Licence Be over 21 years of age due to insurance purposes This role includes driving the gentleman in his own disability car to and from activities and hospital appointments in York and Leeds, usually with prior notice. The 30 hours are 9am till 3pm, which are 5 days on a rota and will possibly include working 1 weekend per month and holiday/sickness cover as per the rota. Times may vary according to hospital appointments etc. Experience not necessary. The rate of pay is £14.30 per hour and time and a half for bank holidays, and paid annual leave.
