We are seeking 1 – 2 outgoing, bubbly and compassionate Personal Assistants to support a lady with mobility issues for 14 hours per week. The lady is a mum of 6, of which 3 are still living at home aged between 11-19 years old, acting as a family companion.
The role would mainly involve supporting with household tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, making beds, ironing, and grocery shopping. Extra duties would include occasionally driving to medical appointments and walking the family’s miniature dachshund.
Please note: this role does not involve any personal care.
The ideal candidate
must
hold a valid, clean driving licence; having access to a car would be an advantage but is not essential. A good knowledge of food hygiene practices is also essential. The hours
initially
are 14 hours per week, Monday to Friday,
potentially increasing to 20 hours.
Some of the hours will be set shifts, and remaining hours can be flexible to suit the successful candidate, which will be discussed at interview level. These hours can be split between 2 people or on a relief/bank basis. The rate of pay is £12.10 per hour.
