As this role is to lead the portfolio of personal tax work, it is essential that you have been managing a portfolio in your current role. Ideally, you will also have experience supporting more junior colleagues with tax queries. Due to the nature of the role, it is also crucial that you are confident liaising directly with clients and dealing with more complex queries. You'll also have experience in a UK practice, handling UK self-assessments for a range of clientele. Benefits
In return for this, you will work in a highly autonomous role. There will be the freedom to grow the personal tax portfolio if you're passionate to do so, or to get involved with more niche areas of tax. You'll work with the Director but will have full management of the tax portfolio. Salary will be dependent on experience, but likely £35,000-£45,000 for part-qualified, and slightly higher for post-qualified. Qualified by experience will also be considered for this opportunity.
