Role Overview:
As a Personal Tax Assistant Manager within the private client tax team, you will manage a diverse portfolio of Personal Tax clients. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of compliance and reporting, such as partnership tax computations, property income accounts, self-employment accounts, GP pension declarations, capital tax computations, trust tax returns, IHT accounts, and trust accounts. You will also provide tax advice and guidance to clients and supervise Tax Assistants within the team.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience in a Personal Tax or Mixed Tax role within a practice environment
Strong technical expertise in Personal Taxation
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of clients, serving as the main point of contact
Preparation and review of personal tax returns
Provide training, guidance, and support to junior staff
Identify tax planning opportunities for individuals and trusts
Assist with tax consulting work relevant to HNWI and trusts as needed
