TPF Recruitment Kent s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is excited to be partnered with a leading accountancy practice near Gravesend who are looking for a Personal Tax Manager to join their team.


You will work amongst a small but successful team providing a varied personal tax service to a range of individuals directors and high net worth individuals.


You will be responsible for your client portfolio and be responsible for:

  • Have oversight of all personal tax clients across your allocated portfolio keeping the Partner regularly informed on any work in progress and escalating any issues.
  • Be responsible for all daytoday tax compliance affairs of the clients in your portfolio ensuring professional standards are met.
  • Identify and consult with colleagues and the Partner on complex technical and risk matters whilst exercising judgement within agreed parameters.
  • Agree fees with clients for compliance and advisory work ensure timely client billings and cash collection.
  • Understand and adhere to cost budgets and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Develop professional relationships with clients and within the firm.


Requirements

  • ACCA/ACA/ATT and/or CTA qualified/nearing qualification.
  • Previous experience within personal tax compliance with any planning experience a bonus.
  • Solid experience of working within an accountancy practice.
  • Ideally 5 years experience of working within Personal Tax.
  • Excellent communication skills.

The Personal Tax Manager will be: ACCA, ATT, or CTA qualification. Significant experience in a tax role within a practice environment. Confidence in a client-facing role. Strong technical knowledge of personal tax regulations and compliance. The ability to mentor and guide junior staff members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
