Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a family Office of an entrepreneurial high net worth Family who are looking to add a Personal Tax Manager to their close knit team.
Based on the Somerset / Dorset border in Sherborne, this is an excellent opportunity to join a family office at Managerial level with a clear platform into Directorship.
Reporting directly to the Deputy Head of Office in charge of compliance, you will manage the day-to-day tax compliance, including direct supervision of our Senior Tax Assistant.
This is an interesting and varied Mixed Tax role with a strong Personal Tax bias.
The successful candidate will be involved in transactions from planning, through implementation and on to reporting. Whilst your key responsibility will be tax compliance, there is ample opportunity to expand your tax advisory knowledge and experience. There are also opportunities for occasional travel within the UK and overseas.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone working in practice looking for a new challenge where you will be responsible for overseeing the responsibilities from start to finish and playing a key role servicing the personal financial affairs of various family members and the accounting and compliance for numerous Family financial interests.
Minimum Requirements:
ATT or CTA Qualified
Significant practice experience
The firm are offering an extremely competitive salary as well as hybrid home working, 8% employer pension contribution, and realistic progression into senior management/directorship.
