Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), sole traders, and partnerships
Prepare and review personal tax returns ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations
Provide expert tax advice on personal tax matters, identifying planning opportunities where applicable
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact for tax-related queries
Assist with tax planning and advisory services, such as capital gains tax (CGT), inheritance tax (IHT), and trust-related advice
Supervise and mentor junior staff, offering guidance and reviewing their work
Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients to resolve queries and issues
Ideal Candidate:
ATT/CTA qualified or equivalent experience in personal tax
Strong knowledge of UK personal tax legislation and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters to clients
Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients in a practice environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
