We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to assist in the delivery of high quality, efficient and effective school premises and PFI contract management for schools, academies and local community. You will support the maintenance of management systems, procedures and protocols for monitoring the performance of the designated contracts, ensuring that comprehensive data and information pertaining to each contract is regularly collated, maintained, analysed and reported. The role requires expertise in developing and maintaining accurate contract documentation, knowledge of high-value and complex contracts, and familiarity with current contract and procurement legislation. Experience working with service providers in PFI or PPP contracts is essential, along with proficiency in project management aligned with Prince 2 principles. The candidate must also have strong experience in budget and financial modelling, particularly using MS Excel. Key accountabilities: Monitor individual contracts effectively. Ensure contractor obligations meet Project Agreement and specifications. Maintain and update risk registers to manage and resolve contract risks. Review contractor performance against time, cost, and quality standards, capturing lessons for future contracts. Validate and process contractor unitary charge applications quarterly, applying deductions if necessary. Oversee PFI charges, indexation, and Council Variations for schools, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Review and process variations and claims in coordination with relevant teams. Prepare reports and data for PFI and contract monitoring. Key requirements: Ability to develop and maintain contract documentation with close attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of high value and complex contracts Knowledge of current contract and procurement legislation Experience of working with service providers within either PFI or PPP contracts Project management based on Prince 2 principles Experience of budget and/or financial modelling using MS Excel.
