We are seeking a talented Band 8 Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic team at Worcester Royal in the UK. This full-time opportunity, working Monday to Friday for a total of 37.5 hours per week, offers a competitive rate of £36 per hour and promises to be both rewarding and impactful. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will support our teams in both medical/surgical and pediatric/neonatal units while focusing on patient-centered care. What you will do: Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assess and treat patients using your expert knowledge of medicines. Lead and mentor a small team of junior pharmacists, providing them with guidance and conducting performance reviews. Conduct comprehensive clinical medication reviews, particularly in cases involving complex polypharmacy. Participate in ward rounds and collaborate closely with medical staff to ensure safe and effective medication practices. Fulfil some limited dispensary commitments, requiring familiarity with dispensary operations. Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care with a focus on patient-centered service delivery.
The candidate must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC). Previous experience in medical/surgical and pediatric/neonatal pharmacy is essential.
