The
Pharmacy Account Director - PBM
is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients and prospects, and reaching internal health plan penetration goals through the use of strong consultative skills. This position is responsible for delivering client retention and satisfaction strategies that drive improved client retention. This position engages significantly with matrixed resources that support accounts served creating client satisfaction and retention.
How you will make an impact:
Execute strategic sales and tactical plans by consulting with key decision makers and operational stakeholders in the region.
Communicate the company value proposition and continually reaffirm its value to Clients and Prospects.
Build solid internal relationships at all levels of Client Management, Finance, Operations, and IT; develop credibility, collaboration and teamwork.
Partner with Anthem field teams around client specific renewals and innovation opportunities.
Provide ongoing support to regional decision makers and support PBM field sales team during RFP processes.
Assist in the development of recommendations for outcomes-based savings and revenue opportunities.
Assist operations in developing key therapeutic programs based on earnings potential.
Work closely with Sales to support new business and carve-in growth opportunities and engage as a leader with the consultant community.
Travel may be required.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
For URAC accredited areas, the following professional competencies apply: Associates in this role are expected to have strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:
Strong PBM Industry experience, highly preferred.
Business, clinical and operational acumen, preferred.
Strategic thinking/planning and results oriented, preferred.
Experience with an integrated medical/pharmacy solution, preferred.
Experience working in a highly matrixed organization, preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary range for this specific position is $142,212 to $243,792.
