We are looking for someone with an interest in Pharmacy who has an eye for detail, is hardworking, ambitious, is able to problem solve and has excellent communication skills.

You will ideally have an NVQ2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services or be willing to work towards this, with in-house training provided.

We are a small team who work over 3 dispensaries within the Hospital. You will be given full training in each of the dispensaries and complete work-based competencies under the guidance of a qualified member of staff.

This is a fixed term post for 12 months; however, there are numerous training and development opportunities within the department for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

To oversee the safe and efficient dispensing of medicines for hospital outpatient and inpatients. To undertake the sale of over-the-counter medicines. To undertake a range of reception duties for the pharmacy dispensaries. Delivery of medications to clinical areas. Filing and other general administrative duties.
