Pharmacy Assistant focuses on processing and dispensing prescriptions accurately.
What the role involves
- Processing and dispensing prescriptions accurately.
- Managing repeat prescription requests.
- Supporting stock control and ordering of medicines.
- Handling patient queries professionally and efficiently.
- Working closely with GPs, pharmacists, and practice staff.
- Maintaining accurate patient medication records using SystemOne.
Skills and requirements
- We are currently recruiting for an experienced NVQ2 Qualified Dispenser to support a busy GP surgery on a locum basis.
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or Dispensing is Essential.
- Previous GP surgery or primary care dispensing experience essential.
- Experience using SystemOne software essential.

- Locum NVQ2 Dispenser – GP Surgery Opportunity – Part Time – 2 days per week.
- Near Peterborough.
- Working Days: Tuesdays & Fridays.
