As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be the first point of contact within the Pharmacy for our patients and customers. We are looking for someone who is amazing with the public, ready to get stuck in, and happy to learn on the job.

Are you friendly, organised, and enthusiastic about providing outstanding patient care and great service to the local community?

As a Right Medicine Pharmacy Counter Assistant, you'll work as part of the Pharmacy team along with Dispensers, Technicians, and the Pharmacist to provide outstanding care for our patients and customers. The role will involve:

Greeting patients and customers and providing any assistance they may require. Promoting Pharmacy services. Advising on over-the-counter products. Receiving and distributing prescriptions to patients under the guidance of the Pharmacist. Performing any other duties essential to the smooth operation of the Pharmacy.

About You: We are ideally looking for someone who has Pharmacy experience; however, this is not essential, and applications are welcome from those looking to progress into a role within Pharmacy.

This role requires completion of several formal training programmes, both during and outside of working hours.

You should have the ability to work in a busy, fast-paced healthcare environment, be reliable, and possess excellent customer service skills along with a friendly personality that our patients can trust!

About Us: Right Medicine Pharmacy operates from 42 sites across Scotland from Wick all the way down to Dumfries and many places in between and looks after over 300 team members.

Our colleagues can look forward to a welcoming and supportive culture, various incentives, and progression on their journey.
