27 January 2025 About the Role To be employed in this role you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check. Our stores operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with a wide variety of shift patterns. If you're looking for flexible working to fit around your lifestyle, then look no further! Weekend working is a requirement of the role, and we may need to be flexible with your work pattern. Our in-store Pharmacies are hugely popular with our customers, who expect warmth and friendliness. You will need to be confident in discussing personal health issues, quickly resolving customer problems, and directing customers to the right products. You will also be responsible for accurately assembling and processing prescriptions and driving awareness of all the extra services we offer in Pharmacy (e.g., Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews). You will support the Pharmacist with the delivery and effective record-keeping of patient services (blood pressure checks, stop smoking schemes). Understanding and adhering to strict Standard Operating Procedures is essential as our customers expect nothing less. You will also collect customers' prescriptions from their doctor's surgery on their behalf. We will help you become a star Pharmacy colleague. You will complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months and then train as a Dispensing Assistant to complete your pharmacy training. Each step of the way, you'll be enhancing our service and advancing your career. About You You will be naturally friendly, highly organized, and eager to contribute to your team's success. Good computer skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with customers are essential.
