13 January 2025 About the Role To be employed in this role you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check. Our stores operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, offering a variety of shift patterns. Weekend working is a requirement of the role, and flexibility in your work pattern may be necessary. Our in-store Pharmacies are popular with customers, who expect warmth and friendliness. You will need to be confident in discussing personal health issues, resolving customer problems, and guiding customers to the right products. You will be responsible for accurately assembling and processing prescriptions and driving awareness of extra services we offer in Pharmacy (e.g., Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews). You will support the Pharmacist with the delivery and effective record keeping of patient services (blood pressure checks, stop smoking schemes). You will also collect customers' prescriptions from their doctor's surgery and bring them to the store for collection. We will help you become a star Pharmacy colleague by completing an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, followed by training as a Dispensing Assistant. About You You are naturally friendly, highly organized, and eager to work with your team to deliver great results. You possess good computer skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with customers. You enjoy problem-solving and are passionate about helping people, ensuring customers have a great healthcare experience.
