We are looking for a full-time Pharmacy Dispenser who is: Flexible and adaptable to the dynamic needs of a busy pharmacy. Dedicated to providing exceptional patient care with a focus on accuracy and safety. Coachable and eager to learn, with the ability to take feedback and grow within the role. Available to work Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Key Responsibilities: Accurately dispense prescribed medications, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of medication orders, including counting, measuring, and mixing pharmaceuticals when necessary. Provide advice and information to patients about their medications, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and proper storage. Maintain accurate records of medication transactions and ensure all documentation is completed correctly. Support the smooth running of daily pharmacy operations, collaborating with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Help maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as required. Ideal Candidate: NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (essential). Previous experience in dispensing or a similar role (preferred). Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care practices. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure. Proficient in using Titan PMR or Proscript systems (preferred). A strong communicator with the ability to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
