As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in dispensing medications to patients, providing customer service, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. Your role will involve handling prescriptions, providing advice to customers, and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy. Key Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense prescription medications and ensure they are correctly labeled and packaged. Check and prepare medications for patient use according to pharmacy standards and regulations. Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries about their medications, side effects, and proper use. Maintain and manage the stock of pharmaceutical products, ensuring timely reordering and stock rotation. Record and maintain accurate patient medication records in compliance with relevant laws. Assist with the preparation of medication blister packs or other medication organization methods as required. Process prescriptions, including checking for potential drug interactions or errors. Ensure all controlled drugs are stored, recorded, and dispensed in accordance with legal requirements. Assist in the general organization and cleanliness of the pharmacy. Provide administrative support, such as filing and maintaining pharmacy records. Assist in the delivery of medications to patients or liaise with delivery personnel. Qualifications & Skills:

Pharmacy Dispenser qualification (such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Pharmacy Technician qualification, or equivalent). Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred. Good understanding of pharmacy terminology and medication dosage forms. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage time efficiently. Strong attention to detail, especially when handling prescriptions and medications. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in pharmacy practice. Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. Working Conditions:

Full-time or part-time hours depending on pharmacy needs. May require evening or weekend shifts. Will involve standing for extended periods and potentially lifting boxes of medications.
