Your New Role with Avicenna: You will ensure customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner to enhance the success of the pharmacy by providing excellent customer service. Key responsibilities will include: Dispensing items into compliance aids or monitored dosage systems, when appropriate. Checking that receipt of prescriptions at the medicines counter has been correctly performed and verifying stock availability on acceptance of prescription. Providing excellent levels of customer service to ensure customer needs and requirements are met/exceeded. Supporting other services as required by the pharmacy and identifying opportunities for the Pharmacist Manager, Pharmacist, Relief Pharmacist or Locum. Clinically checking all prescriptions to avoid possible drug interactions. When interaction is identified, make the RP aware so that the prescriber is contacted.
