Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role working in the dispensary, assisting the Pharmacist Manager and the ACT, providing an efficient and professional dispensing service in line with company policies and procedures.
What will you be doing?
You will ensure customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner to enhance the success of the pharmacy by providing excellent customer service. To be successful in this role, you will be a team player who loves dealing with customers, is organised, and has great attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure customer prescriptions are received and dispensed in a timely manner.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer needs and requirements are met/exceeded.
Support other services as required by the pharmacy and identify opportunities for the Pharmacist Manager, Pharmacist, Relief Pharmacist or Locum.
Clinically check all prescriptions to avoid possible drug interactions, and notify the RP if an interaction is identified.
Ensure CD scripts are dispensed legally and that the bag label indicates the last day the script can be handed to the patient.
Qualifications:
A qualified Dispenser with relevant qualifications.
Experience of working in a pharmacy environment.
Good attention to detail.
A passion to learn and develop.
Ability to work under pressure.
Good customer service skills.
Good team player.
