Avicenna are currently seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team.
In this role, you will play a critical role working in the dispensary assisting the Pharmacist Manager and the ACT, providing an efficient and professional dispensing service in line with company policies and procedures.

What will you be doing?
You will ensure customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner to enhance the success of the pharmacy by providing excellent customer service. To be successful in this role, you will be a team player who loves dealing with customers, is organised, and has great attention to detail.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities will include:
Ensuring customer prescriptions are received and dispensed in a timely manner.
Providing excellent levels of customer service to ensure customer needs and requirements are met/exceeded.
Supporting other services as required by the pharmacy and identifying opportunities for the Pharmacist Manager, Pharmacist, Relief Pharmacist or Locum.
Clinically checking all prescriptions to avoid possible drug interactions and making the RP aware when interactions are identified.
Ensuring CD scripts are dispensed legally and indicating the last day by which the script can be handed to the patient on the bag label.

A qualified Dispenser with the relevant qualifications.
Experience of working in a pharmacy environment.
A good attention to detail.

The ability to work under pressure.
