Pharmacy Manager Leighton Buzzard - Site based Up to £60,000 Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented leading pharmacist looking for a rewarding opportunity in a new Pharmaceutical environment? Join my clients team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional pharmacy services to patients and pharmaceutical partners. To ensure the compliant, clinically sound, and legally accurate delivery of a Pharmaceutical Services. You will support operational efficiency, lead a high-performing team, and uphold the highest standards of pharmaceutical care in alignment with GPhC regulations. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of all medications, adhering to GPhC standards and Responsible Pharmacist regulations. Deputise for the Clinical Pharmacy Manager, maintaining seamless operational efficiency in their absence. Uphold the Clinical Governance framework, including risk management, audits, clinical effectiveness, and information security. Maintain all pharmacy SOPs and ensure adherence to Responsible Pharmacist regulations. Oversee the accuracy check of prescriptions, ensuring they are completed by trained personnel. Lead the training and development of the dispensary team to maintain competence and compliance. Monitor and manage errors and near-misses, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions to improve processes. Monitor KPIs to measure dispensing success. Ensure prescriptions are processed within agreed timelines. Manage dispensary stock and maintain a tidy and compliant environment. Provide accurate, informed responses to drug-related queries from both internal and external stakeholders. Complete all pharmacovigilance activities within the required timelines. Ensure medications are stored, dispensed, and delivered at the correct temperatures, promptly addressing any deviations. Skills & Competencies: Professional decision-making and the ability to influence stakeholders. Strong leadership with a focus on patient care. A collaborative team player with excellent organisational and communication skills. Registered Pharmacist with the GPhC. Commitment to ongoing professional development (CPD compliant). In-depth knowledge of medicines regulations and GDPR.
