Do you want to work as a registered professional who assists pharmacists with various tasks, such as dispensing medicines, providing health advice, and managing the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy? If so, then this apprenticeship is for you! Qualifications Required: GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course. Personal Qualities: Team working, Initiative, Non-judgemental, Patience Desired skills:

A keen interest in pharmacy and healthcare. Previous experience in the pharmacy industry or similar. Good communication and customer service skills. The ability to work as part of a team and independently. The willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge. Training to be provided: Pharmacy Technician (Integrated) Level 3 Future Prospects: An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry-specific competence. Potential for full-time employment on successful completion of the apprenticeship. Transferable skills that are invaluable in the wider world of work. Achieve the best possible outcome through a person’s medicines by managing, ordering, receiving, maintaining and supplying medicines and other pharmaceutical products safely, legally and effectively, whilst meeting the regulatory standards. Provide person-centred health advice to all patients, whether on prescription or over the counter, and refer them to other healthcare professionals when appropriate. Support the management of the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy, such as clinical governance, business operation and processes, and supervise other pharmacy staff. Provide training to pharmacy and the wider healthcare teams, such as for new members of staff. Maintain a quality service through auditing and evaluating the service and processes, and respond to feedback. You will also gain a nationally recognised qualification at Level 3, equivalent to A level, which will enable you to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician. Salary: £8.60 - £11.44 per hour
