We are looking to support and develop the skills of pharmacy technicians to provide a varied range of services as well as some dispensary-based work. If you are interested in this post, you will need a minimum of NVQ level 3 in Pharmacy services and be a registered pharmacy technician. An accuracy checking pharmacy technician would be desirable. BTEC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in pharmaceutical services Appropriate accredited technican checking qualification Knowledge of medicines optimisation Pharmacy legal requirements and controlled drug legislation Knowledge of Pharmacy Computer systems Substance misuse knowledge Has good understanding of security issues in relation to prison Excellent verbal and communication skills Able to prepare reports and bulletins Disclosure and Barring Service Check
