As a Senior Pharmacy Technician in the Inpatient Pharmacy Dispensary, you will support the Lead Pharmacy Technician in delivering essential services and ensuring the efficient flow of patients. You will prioritise tasks in line with Trust priorities, supervise junior staff members, and promote a positive and productive team environment. As one of the main accuracy checkers in the department, you will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of service. Additionally, you will be involved in the dispensing of controlled drugs, chemotherapy, and clinical trial medications, as well as conducting unlicensed medicines assessments. You will also manage escalations, addressing issues promptly and referring them to the Lead Pharmacy Technician or Senior Management Team as appropriate. About us
