The Role

NHS Lanarkshire are looking to recruit a Phlebotomist, based within University Hospital Hairmyres. As a Phlebotomist you will collect blood samples by venepuncture or capillary route from Locality patients within the Health Centre, GP Practices and Hospital. What we'll need you to bring

A certificate in venepuncture is essential. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is required. Require intensive one-to-one supervised training for an initial period of three months and regular updating of skills thereafter. High awareness of Infection Control policies and procedures. Manual dexterity essential. Maintenance of CPR training. Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence. Contract type

Permanent Part Time 25 hours Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata. Location
